March 17th -21st 2019 – APEC 2019 – Booth #953 - @ Anaheim Convention Center, California, U.S.A.

The EPC team will meet engineers at its exhibition booth #953 with live demonstrations showing how eGaN technology’s superior performance is transforming power delivery for entire industries including computing, communications, and automotive. Such demonstrations include a high-power density 48 V – 12 V non-isolated, bidirectional converter capable of delivering 3 kW, a range of 3-D real-time lidar imaging sensors used in autonomous vehicles, high-power resonant wireless charging solution capable of wirelessly powering a wide range of devices including cell phones, notebook computers, monitors, wireless speakers, smartwatches, and table lamps, as well as a new GaN IC which redefines the power conversion.

March 20th 2019 – Arrow Centralized Training Exhibition – @Grand Hyatt Hotel, Shenzhen, China

Arrow and EPC are jointly developing a laser module using EPC2212 (AEC-Q101 qualified) for lidar applications. This module is taking 75V input and delivering a peak power at 400W. The target end applications of this module include ADAS lidar, 3D facial recognition, security, robotics as well as automatic vacuum cleaners.

EPC’s eGaN FETs are able to switch at very high frequencies making them a perfect fit for these applications. Arrow and EPC are building this Lidar Laser solution as a module, by selecting the most appropriate gate driver, laser diode and putting them together using sophisticated PCB layout technique. We make the high-resolution lidar possible, increasing lidar accuracy as well as efficiency.

Techno Frontier Exhibition (https://www.jma.or.jp/tf/en/) is renowned for showing the latest technologies and products in electronics for engineers’ knowledge exchange with exhibiting manufacturers. To meet with our GaN engineering audience, EPC will be exhibiting at Techno Frontier Exhibition with Mitsuiwa. Demonstrations include wireless power, lidar and Class D audio applications.
