EPC9019 - Development Board

EPC Development Board

EPC9019 : 80 V Half-Bridge Development Board
for Low Duty Cycle Applications

The EPC9019 is a half-bridge development board for high current, high step-down voltage applications such as buck converters for non-isolated telecom infrastructure. With a 40 V maximum device voltage, 20 A maximum output current, the EPC9019 is in a half bridge topology with onboard gate drive, featuring the 100 V EPC2001 as the single high side (control) FET and the 80 V EPC2021 as the low-side (synchronous rectifier) FET.

The development board is 2” x 1.5” and contains all critical components and layout for optimal switching performance. The optimum layout techniques used increase efficiency while reducing voltage overshoot and EMI.

* Assumes inductive load, maximum current depends on die temperature – actual maximum current with be subject to switching frequency, bus voltage and thermals.
# Dependent on time needed to ‘refresh’ high side bootstrap supply voltage.
