Job Description:

As a Test Technician at Efficient Power Conversion, you will play a vital role in developing the next generation of GaN FETs and ICs. This position requires hands-on experience with electronic circuits and test equipment and knowledge of computer programming (Labview and MATLAB).

As part of a worldwide organization and a fast-growing technology, you will work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines and interact with EPC teams in the US and Taiwan. This position requires someone willing to learn new skills, attention to detail, and be well-organized.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, build, operate, and maintain automated test systems.
  • Develop scripts (Labview and MATLAB) to process test results and generate reports.
  • Generate test procedures and test instructions.
  • Create and maintain programs for automated test systems (LabVIEW/Python/C).
  • Troubleshoot/debug problems arising from all the above.
  • Support Failure Analysis activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Good understanding of Field Effect Transistor (FET) characteristics
  • Hands-on experience with electronics and test equipment (Up to 1kV power supplies, meters, source measurement units, oscilloscopes, DAQs).
  • Familiarity with standard office software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Authorized to work in the US.

Education/Experience:

  • BS or MS electrical engineering or computer science.
