Alex Lidow（アレックス・リドウ）は、米スタンフォード大学の応用物理の博士号を取得した後、1940年代に父親のEric Lidowによって設立された上場半導体企業の米インターナショナル・レクティファイアー（IR）社で30年間を過ごしました。

Alexは、IR社のパワー・マネージメント（電源管理）技術を先導し、その事業が確立された中核特許の共同執筆者であり、1995年に兄のDerekと共に共同CEO（最高経営責任者）となりました。Derekが1999年に市場調査会社iSupply 社を設立して去った後、１人で会社を経営しました。
