Wireless Power
Multiple Device, Large-Surface-Area Power Made Easy

Large-surface-area wireless power allows robots, vacuums, and eScooters and eBikes to recharge without precise alignment requirements. An innovative way of recharging the batteries of drones is to place mid-air recharging stations along the route of the drone. These stations provide wireless charging antennae from which drones can have their batteries recharged without having to land.

Wireless power includes resonant, capacitive, and high-power inductive technologies. The high switching capability of GaN, along with the small size can be used to create compact wireless power transmitters for all these charging systems.

Wireless Handbook

A major challenge for implementing wireless power is the design of the amplifier. The aim of this handbook is to understand the many challenges to designing an amplifier for wireless power, such as radiated EMI, multi-mode systems, and ways to improve efficiency.

Trilogy of Wireless Power Transfer

The "Trilogy of Wireless Power Transfer" consists of three parts: Basics Principles of Wireless Power Transmission, Wireless Power Transfer Systems and Applications. The book costs 19 euros and can be ordered from Würth Elektronik eiSos or through bookstores.
