Voltraware is a fabless semiconductor company that specializes in the development of wireless power ASICs. Volta, their transmitter side IC is the result of consolidating WiTricity’s wireless charging technology IP blocks into an ASIC that serves as an Analog Front End with over 200 built-in registers for programming and Non-Volatile Memory (NVMs) for calibration/trimming constants. Voltraware provides HW/FW design-in support of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) that allows Fixed Wireless Broadband service providers to deploy gigabit broadband speeds to indoor environments using mmWave spectrum (5G or 60GHz) through walls or low-E windows. This wireless power and data solution can be self-installed by the consumer, without drilling holes, without running new cables, and without needing a professional installation. Voltraware is a member of the Facebook-led Telecom Infra Project. Also, they are actively supporting robotic wireless charging as well as furniture-integrated wireless power.
