REACH 聲明 – 符合歐洲共同體化學物質註冊、評估、授權及限制條例

March 2024

REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances. The law entered into force on 1 June 2007. EPC supports the aim of REACH to improve the protection of human health and the environment.

Manufacturers or importers of articles into Europe are obligated to inform recipients of any articles that contain chemicals on the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) candidate list above a 0.1% concentration (by weight per article). In addition, all substances of very high concern must be identified when said substances are intended to be released from articles during normal and foreseeable conditions of use.

EPC’s lead-free products do not contain substances on the REACH SVHC candidate list in concentrations greater than 0.1% by weight per article. Further, these products are not intended to release any substances under normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.

Number of Substances on the Candidate List: 240 (Latest update: January 23, 2024)

EPC will continue to monitor the developments of the REACH legislation to ensure continued compliance.
