Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional with the ability to identify and assist customers with implementing leading-edge GaN-based solutions to meet their design challenges. This teammate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at generating leads, and develop long-term relationships with customers. The primary focus of this position will be to generate and develop new customers and markets for EPC’s GaN power technology in Taiwan.

Critical aspects of the role include demand creation, execution of account penetration sales strategy, monitoring and reporting of account/market plans against yearly goals including design wins, reference designs, revenue forecast, distribution strategies, and sales representative and distributor management.

Principal Responsibilities:

Expanding the customer base and market opportunities for EPC in Taiwan.

  • Global account management
  • Drive sales strategy for the territory
  • Business development for existing & new accounts in Taiwan
  • Defining key sales channel to support the business plan and customer growth
  • Liaising with internal teams to develop critical accounts & emerging markets
  • Assisting with product definition to meet identified needs of Taiwan market
  • Identifying and securing new design wins with existing & new accounts
  • Development and execution of the territorial business plan
  • Develop and retain key channel partners

Key Performance Measures:

  • Performance achievement to revenue and design win budgets
  • Critical customer penetration and relationship building with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Accuracy and delivery to the sales forecast
  • Retention and development of sales representatives and distributors in Taiwan
  • Deliver revenue and profitability growth in line with the EPC’s goals

Job Requirements:

  • 10-15 years’ experience in Sales function, with the last five years in a managerial role
  • A commercial/technical background in an NMC with power semiconductor would be an advantage
  • BS or MS in Electronic Engineering or relevant disciplines
  • Strong communications skills, proficient in spoken and written Taiwanese and English.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidate must be multilingual
  • Business / Technical English is mandatory
  • Willingness to take on a project outside of primary role
  • Excellent balance of long term and short-term focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Proven sales management experience and qualifications gained within the power semiconductor industry

  • Customer-oriented and able to promote EPC technology across targeted verticals
  • Knowledge of standard IT tools and CRM applications

Travel Requirements:

  • Regular domestic travel and limited international travel
