REACH is the European Community regulation governing chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It addresses the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemical substances and entered into force on June 1, 2007. Efficient Power Conversion (EPC) supports REACH’s objective of enhancing the protection of human health and the environment.

Manufacturers and importers of articles into Europe are required to inform recipients if any article contains substances from the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) candidate list at concentrations exceeding 0.1% by weight per article. Additionally, any SVHC must be disclosed if it is intended to be released from an article under normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.
