EPC91121 Review: GaN FETs, Current Sensing, and Thermal Design

The EPC91121 is a compact, high-performance three-phase BLDC motor-drive inverter for 24V battery-powered applications. Built around EPC2366 enhancement-mode GaN FETs, it operates from 18–30V and supports PWM switching up to 150kHz. Integrated gate drivers, phase-current and voltage sensing, temperature monitoring, and auxiliary supplies simplify evaluation with compatible controllers. The board delivers up to 30A RMS per phase without a heatsink, or 35Arms with natural-convection cooling. Explore its connections, thermal design, and features for high-frequency motor-control development.;
