EPC91132: 15 ARMS, 3-Phase Motor Drive Inverter

EPC91132: 15 ARMS 3-Phase Motor Drive Inverter

EPC91122 Evaluation Board

The EPC91132 evaluation board is a 3-phase BLDC motor drive inverter board featuring the EPC33110 three-phase co-packaged module that integrates three monolithic gallium nitride (GaN) half-bridges, each featuring integrated gate drivers, bootstrap circuits, and level shifters. The board has been designed with an optimized form factor for the small joints of humanoid robots and for 23 mm drone motors.

The EPC33110 can deliver up to 16 Apk (11 ARMS) steady-state output current and up to 21 Apk (15 ARMS) pulsed output while inserted inside the motor chassis.

The EPC91132 is intended for driving humanoid robot joints and contains all the necessary critical function circuits to support a complete motor drive inverter, including a microcontroller, motor shaft angular sensor, housekeeping power supplies, accurate voltage and current sense, NTC temperature sensing, SWD connector and RS485 interface.

Features

  • 3-phase inverter based on EPC33110 ePower Stage IC with wide input DC voltage ranging from 10 V to 60 V
